Star Clippers the specialist cruise line has announced seven brand new Mediterranean ports of call for their summer 2026 schedule. These include Ouranoupolis in Greece and Barletta, Monopoli, Crotone and Pesaro in Italy.
Star Flyer will visit Ouranoupolis, a small city in the Halkidiki region. That follows a day of sailing along the Athos peninsular and viewing the monasteries. It is all a part of a 7-night Greek Islands sailing in June 2026.
Pesaro will be a tender port, allowing multiple excursion opportunities including day trips to the UNESCO-recognised town of Urbino. Another trip takes guests to the Republic of San Marino, one of the smallest countries in the world.
There are currently no other cruise ships scheduled to visit Ouranoupolis or Pesaro in summer 2026.
New Mediterranean ports
Other new Mediterranean ports for the three tall ships include Šibenik (Croatia), Gythio (Greece) and Crotone (Italy).
Puglia’s Monopoli and Barletta are further new ports of call for the specialist cruise line.
Star Clippers operates three of the world’s largest and tallest fully crewed sailing vessels. The ships can drop anchor in smaller harbours and visit ports often untouched by larger cruise ships whilst providing guests with the amenities and atmosphere of a private yacht.
For over 30 years the Star Clipper tall ships have allowed guests to explore smaller, intimate destinations and we are thrilled to continue offering incredible new ports to visit.
First class accommodation
All three ships have expansive teak decks, swimming pools, informal dining, a convivial Tropical Bar on deck and a comfortable piano bar and are large enough to offer first class accommodation and dining.
The company’s two smaller ships, Star Flyer and Star Clipper take 166 guests each, with a crew of 74, while Royal Clipper carries 227 with a crew of 106.
Star Clippers is represented in the UK by General Sales Agent Fred. Olsen Travel and any packages/offers are for UK passengers and trade.
