Largo Leisure Holidays are the new owners of Campsie Glen Holiday Park in Fintry near Glasgow. It is the second acquisition for them since they were acquired by Limerston Capital in March 2022.
Campsie Glen Holiday Park will be park number six in the Largo Leisure family. It joins these sister parks:
- Loch Tay Highland Lodges,
- Sauchope Holiday Park
- Braidhaugh Holiday Park
- Letham Feus Park
- Cruachan Farm Caravanning and Camping Park.
The peaceful, rural park is situated between the rolling Campsie Fells and the craggy Fintry Hills. Campsie Glen Holiday Park is within easy reach to some of the region’s highlights. These include the United Kingdom’s largest body of inland water, Loch Lomond, and the historic city of Stirling.
Touring caravan or motorhome
A range of holiday accommodations are on offer including lodges, caravans, and glamping. Many are pet friendly. Guests also have the option of bringing their own touring caravan or motorhome. Choose from fully serviced pitches, which have 16amp electric hook-ups, freshwater connection, wastewater drainage and TV hook-up point. Or opt for a hard standing pitch which also have a 16amp electric hook up point and are conveniently situated alongside the toilet and shower amenity block.
Ownership opportunities are also available with a wide selection of pre-owned and brand-new properties to suit every budget and need.
Facilities on the park try to please everyone with heated swimming pool, indoor hot tub & small kids pool. It is open 7 days a week from April until October. There is an indoor games room open from 10am until 10pm. And an outdoor children’s play area, bar and bistro. This features an outdoor terrace with Saturday night entertainment running from April until the end of October. There are also washing and launderette facilities, and trout fishing.
Great addition
Largo Leisure Holidays Chairperson Andrew Howe said: “This is a great addition to the portfolio of parks in the Largo Leisure Group and marks another step in our ongoing growth plan and investment in Scottish Tourism. In keeping with the Largo Leisure brand, Campsie Glen is located in a beautiful natural setting, but also offers on site facilities such as the pool and bar which will appeal to families and those who want some entertainment as part of their break. It is in a different area of Scotland to our other parks so provides more choice for holidaymakers and broadens are overall offering.”
