Adriatic Marinas Exports Their Expertise to Persian Gulf

Adriatic Marinas have relentlessly pursued its goal of creating Life Less Ordinary at the waterfront

David Margason, the General Manager at Adriatic Marinas Porto Montenegro has announced a strategic partnership with Nakheel a developer whose waterfront developments in Dubai include Palm Jumeirah and Dubai Islands.

Technically the agreement is between Adriatic Marinas, the developer, owner, and operator of Porto Montenegro in Tivat and Nakheel.

Marina management platform

Under the partnership, Adriatic Marinas will, through their M-Marinas by Porto Montenegro, a marina management platform, offer marina management to enhance Nakheel’s waterfront developments.

Work will begin immediately.  It will centre on enhancements to the existing Palm East & West marinas.  And on creating a new marina base at Dubai Islands. Further details about which will be shared in the coming months.

Porto Montenegro is a luxury superyacht marina development in Tivat, on the Adriatic coast of Montenegro. It is home to a 630-berth marina with 130 of those capable of handling superyachts.  Originally a Yugoslavian navy base, the development supports luxury apartments, hotels, spas, a casino, shopping areas bars and restaurants. The project was originally the vision of a group of international investors. They were led by the late Peter Munk of Toronto, Canada.  He was founder and chairman of Barrick Gold, the world’s largest gold producer.
