Emerald Cruises has unveiled images of the brand-new luxury superyacht, Emerald Azzurra, following its launch last month.
The 100-guest yacht is the first of the brand’s two ground-breaking yacht-like cruise ships to join the award-winning Emerald Cruises fleet.
The concept is a winning combination that blends superyacht accommodation service and food with the ambience of a very small boutique cruise ship.
The idea has been tried before successfully by SeaDream Yacht Club but sadly, those elderly ships are beginning to show their age as they reach their sell by date.
Of the 50 deluxe staterooms and suites on board Emerald Azzurra, over 80 per cent feature private balconies, and each come equipped with Missoni towels and ESPA amenities – the same luxury line found in the on board Elements Spa.
Setting sail for the first time from Aqaba in Jordan last month, Emerald Azzurra offers a small ship cruising experience to ports and harbours only accessible to small yachts.
The custom-built vessel features a variety of public areas including a Wellness Centre, which comes complete with Technogym equipment and an infrared sauna – the first for a yacht of its size.
The yacht’s marina platform provides guests with easy access to watersports and activities, including the on board SEABOBs and the very latest in electric bikes from gocycle.
Emerald Azzurra made its inaugural Adriatic voyage last month with an eight-day Mediterranean Enchantment Gems itinerary which finished in Dubrovnik on 16 April 2022.
Prices for the eight-day Mediterranean Enchantment departing on 9th of July 2022 start from £3,420 per person. The sailing visits Kotor, Sarandë (Albania), Kerkira (Corfu), Párga, Cephalonia and Itea (Delphi) before transiting the Corinth Canal.
Featuring designer furnishings throughout, the pool deck boasts Paola Lenti day loungers and Kettal lounge chairs to complement the infinity-style pool offering incredible sweeping views over the warm-weather destinations visited.
Indoors, the stylishly appointed Observational Lounge includes a Dedon MBrace Wing Chair and footstool, as well as L’Object games such as chess and tic tac toe for guests to enjoy.
The new yacht will be joined by sister yacht Emerald Sakara in February 2023, with itineraries to the Seychelles and Middle East on sale now.
