An eight-day ‘Director’s Cruise along the Douro’ river cruise has been schedule for this summer.
Colin Downing the managing director of Emerald Waterways’ will be leading the cruise. Susy Atkins the wine expert, author and broadcaster will join him.
Having boarded Emerald Radiance in Porto on 17 August 2019, guests will enjoy an extra special itinerary along the Douro River.
Emerald Radiance is one of the seven Star Ships operated by the company.
During the voyage guests will get a chance to enjoy views across its terraced vineyards during harvest time. What is more, they will also get plenty of opportunities to sample the local food delicacies along the way before returning to Porto.

Prices for this exclusive itinerary start from £2,485 per person. This include: return flights, transfers, seven-nights on-board, all tipping and gratuities, shore excursions and exclusive on-board events and experiences.
