The very first 32XP explorer yacht from Turkish yacht builder Numarine has been spotted while under tow to her internal fitting out berth
The all new three deck 32.5 metre long, 8 metre beam yacht, was seen in Istanbul on route to the shipyard when this image was taken. This superyacht was ordered by an experienced Numarine owner searching for a versatile and voluminous yacht customised to cater to his long cruises with his growing family.
Presently, construction is on schedule with the installation of technical systems, fit-out of the engine room, installation of extensive sound-proofing materials and cabin ceiling, wall and floor structures.
Delivery of the new yacht is scheduled for early June 2017, and this will be followed by a full summer of cruising with her owner before she makes her world premiere at the prestigious Cannes Yachting Festival and Monaco Yacht Show in September 2017.
The all-new design offers good volumes of internal living spaces onboard, with her steel hull construction and GRP superstructure allowing the yard and her owner to create spacious use internally and customise external space, both of which have been created by the Turkish designer Can Yalman, a man already responsible for all of the shipyard’s distinctive model lines.
Noteworthy, the 32XP has a displacement of just under 300 GT, the maximum limit of the category, confirming the superior volumes of this vessel.
The interior has been fully customised so to reflect the owner’s preferences in terms of layout, design, fabrics and materials.
The main deck offers a generous cockpit that also provides for a comfortable stern sunpad area right behind the couch seating, for a total of 64 square metres of living space (including side passages).
The 48 square metre salon leads to a lobby area with a day head and a separate gym on the starboard side, and then to a full-beam forward master cabin with more than 30 square meters of space and separate his and hers bathrooms sharing a central shower. Amidships on the portside, the galley is equipped with 4 full-height refrigerators links to the salon via a pantry area and to the crew quarters below, connected to the external portside passage with a crew-dedicated entrance, all to allow the highest standard of service on board and maximum guest privacy.
Below deck, the layout offers 2 VIP Cabins mid-ship and 2 double cabins, all with ensuite bathrooms, and over 85 square meters of living space.
Below deck forward, the 5 person crew quarters provide ideal spaces for the captain with his private cabin plus ensuite, and 4 crew members in two doubles with ensuite facilities. A crew gally with dinette area and a laundry room complete the crew area.
On the upper deck, the owner’s cabin boasts 40 square metres of living space including a large walk-in closet and a generous owner’s bathroom. The space opens up directly on to the large upper deck on which a 9 meter RIB tender and two jet-skis are loaded, with the help of a 2.5 ton crane when the yacht is under way.
Forward of the wheelhouse, a large couch area with bimini, cocktail table and extensive sunpad areas offer space in the sun. All in all the external space on the upper deck of this 32 metre yacht offers and impressive 129 square metres of relaxation space.
Equally impressive, the flybridge deck offers 60 square metres of entertainment space customised to include in the first unit 3 couches, a 12 persons dining table, two large sunpad areas a fully-fitted bar, 3 navigation seats and a central secondary helm station.
Built to class with Rina and achieving “comfort class” status, the yacht is expected to be very quite when under way and at anchor. Naval architect Umberto Tagliavini, predicts that his efficient displacement hull design will give the Numarine 32XP a top speed of 14knots, a cruise speed of 12knots, and a confidence inspiring 3,000 Nm range at an economical speed of 9 knots.
