There is still time to book for the Superyacht UK Technical Seminar at this years London Boat Show.
This years event takes place on Thursday 12th January 2017 and runs from 10.30am until 6pm
Over 120 delegates attended the January 2016 seminar all of whom caught up on the latest industry developments and networked in the lunch and post seminar drinks.
Who should attend?
All parties interested in learning about the latest code development, wider issues facing the industry and those who would like to take this excellent opportunity to network. The January 2016 delegates included representatives from shipyards, designers, naval architects, lawyers, insurance and management companies.
Speakers for the event, include Key Note Speaker Kate Ware, Director of Maritime Safety and Standards at the Maritime and Coastguard Agency and the Permanent Representative of the UK at the International Maritime Organisation.

Concept-to-completion, how to make today’s superyacht concepts a reality – featuring representatives from BMT Nigel Gee, Lloyd’s Register, The Royal Institution of Naval Architects and Cayman Islands Shipping Registry and Richie Blake as panel mediator
Brexit, how will it affect brokers, class/regulations and the law – featuring representatives from Lloyd’s Register, Hill Dickenson, Cayman Islands Shipping Registry and the Maritime and Coastguard Agency.
The event will include plenty of break out opportunities to talk with the speakers and meet with industry representatives.
This event will also be on the same day that Superyacht UK announce the winner of the Superyacht UK Young Designer Competition 2017, so plenty of opportunity to also meet the judging panel, designers and see all the competing designs first-hand.
