By Tourist an Italian based superyacht marketing team is set to welcome super yacht captains to Naples for a week of seminars and area familiarisation.

Now in its fourth edition, this event is dedicated exclusively for super yacht captains and includes specialized training opportunities, visits to super yacht facilities and a rich program of cultural activities.

With partners, the Luise Group, leader in agency services in Italy, and the Palumbo Shipyard, both based in Naples, this event will also highlight innovative companies operating in the nautical sector in Campania. This includes MV Marine the designers and builders of an innovative line of super yacht tenders.

International super yacht captains will discover the Neapolitan peninsula and also Castellammare di Stabia to discover what the territory offers in terms of dedicated nautical shipyards, technical expertise and expert artisans working on yacht refit.

The trip will also provide captains an opportunity to learn about new opportunities for anchorage and berthing along the coast. In addition, participants will visit the protected areas of Punta Campanella & Ischia to learn more about exclusive excursions for their owners and guests.

Participating captains will be in Naples for the event from November 25th to December 3rd. The opening weekend will include visits of the historic centers of Naples and Sorrento, private guided tours of historical sites and museums, and a taste of culinary highlights of this region from the traditional Neapolitan pizza to Michelin starred cuisine. Also on the calendar will be exclusive visits to several of the best-known luxury brands in the area such as Brunello Cucinelli and Bulgari.

Several esteemed guests have already confirmed their participation including captains representing yachts of prominent Heads of State and well-known Russian and Italian super yacht owners.

With a 30% increase in super yacht visits to the area in 2016 from the previous season, the VIP luxury tourism sector in the region is strengthening their partnerships with the nautical sector to support the superyacht industry in the region.
