Fort Lauderdale Mayor Receives Superyacht Gift

Given that each year the city of Fort Lauderdale hosts the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show it is perhaps only fitting that this years event the city’s mayor received a keepsake.

Mayor Jack Seiler received a copy of ‘The Superyacht Book’ presented to him by Secretary General Theo Hooning of the Superyacht Builders Association (SYBAss), during the media breakfast event at the beginning of the show.

The book, initiated by The Superyacht Life a collective promotional programme aimed at inspiring potential future yacht owners by showcasing the lifestyle associated with superyachts, features recently delivered flagships from the 21 SYBAss member shipyards from around the world.

The book portrays a vast array of differences in superyacht design, layout, technical specifications and entertainment options.

Essays throughout the book explore how the latest design trends can transform the owner´s and guests´ experience on a yacht. Features cover the changing and varying demands of owners, yacht designers and shipyards who are constantly being pushed to challenge the written and unwritten rules of yacht design and naval architecture.

Other features discuss new builds that are inspired by the latest trends, at the same time new trends are born, coming to life following the owner´s vision and demand of specific features.

Packed full of photos of interiors and exteriors of superyachts, this book is of interest to those interested in luxury yachts or their design.
