Burgess Releases List Line Up for Monaco

The headlining act closing the Mediterranean season, the Monaco Yacht Show celebrates some of the largest and most prestigious superyachts afloat.

This year will mark the 26th edition with more than 120 superyachts From 25 to 90 metres expected to be exhibiting.

An extensive line-up of motor and sailing yachts from the Burgess central agency sales fleet will be on display, including the largest yacht in the show – the fabulous 90 metre three-masted schooner, Athena.

Clients will be welcomed at stand QH17 on the Quai de l’Hirondelle where professional and experienced Burgess brokers will be on hand to offer tours and advice.

Several yachts are reported to have motivated sellers who are prepared to accept a realistic price. The brokeregae house expects that as a result some serious inspections can be anticipated in Monaco after what has proved to be quite an upbeat summer.

As is usual for those who are customers at Burgess a fleet of private tenders and Rolls-Royces will be on standby to speed them around the show to and from their hotels and onto the yachts.

Athena

At 90 metres, Athena is the largest sailing yacht currently on the brokerage market as well as being the fourth largest sailing yacht in the world. Custom built by the world-class Dutch shipyard Royal Huisman and designed by the late Pieter Beelsnijder in association with Gerard Dykstra & Partners, Athena carries a magnificent a presence on the water today just as when she was delivered in 2004, Athena completed a comprehensive refit in 2011.

Sarastar

Currently in the final stages of completion by respected Italian shipyard Mondomarine, Sarastar is an all-aluminium semi-displacement vessel, with delivery scheduled for autumn 2016. Boasting equally sportive and elegant lines, Sarastar was conceived by the acclaimed Italian designer Luca Dini who is also responsible for her contemporary interior, which provides accommodation for 12 guests in 6 cabins. Delivering a maximum speed of 19.5 knots and a cruising speed of 18 knots, Sarastar is a fast, choice for anyone in the market for a brand new 60 metre yacht to enjoy for the winter season.

Capri

A showcase of Northern European engineering and craftsmanship, Capri offers an impressive volume for a yacht of her size at 1,226 gross tons. Her Glade Johnson designed interior includes a vast main saloon, formal dining room and sky lounge affording an elegant environment for entertaining. Accommodation for 12 guests in six cabins is configured across a full beam master suite on the main deck plus three further doubles and a twin cabin. Her sun deck features a jacuzzi and a fully equipped gym. With good seakeeping qualities and Naiad zero speed stabilisers, Capri is MCA LY2 compliant. She completed her Lloyd’s 10 year survey in 2013. A new fully integrated bridge/navigational system was installed in 2012.

Turquoise

Turquoise is on the sales market after undergoing a comprehensive refit in 2014 carried out by H2 Yacht Design, leaving her in immaculate condition. Tales

Kisses

This custom built Feadship has only ever been privately used and benefits from a refit carried out in 2014. Kisses carries sleek cool lines with an elegant minimalist Art Déco interior inspired by the late designer and ironsmith Edgar Brandt. She displays a range of design materials, from precious woods the likes of Karelian burl and carbon ebony to stainless steel and glass doors, granite floors and woven natural leather on walls and deckheads.
