Close by the trendy and upmarket shops of Holetown Sandy Lane overlooks the Caribbean Sea on a tranquil coral sand beach, in St James Barbados. Shaded by mature mahogany trees, the hotel is proud to have two and a half golf courses it can call its own.
Big and brash it makes the headlines every year as the Celebrity wintertime haunt for those who like the Caribbean at Christmas time. 112 hotel rooms and suites, a stunning private villa, exceptional golf, gourmet dining, an outstanding spa, superb sports facilities and finally, a warm Barbadian hospitality.
Whenever you dine at Sandy Lane you will enjoy the perfect match of exceptional cuisine within exquisite surroundings. Four restaurants each celebrate wonderful flavors from around the world, making each meal a delight. We ate lunch at the beachside Bajan Blue overlooking the glorious platinum coast of St. James.
Located on the Lower Terrace, this informal restaurant offers all day dining and a mélange of European, Caribbean and Asian influenced cuisine.
Entered via a modern wine bar and past a sushi station the restaurant is set up buffet style and features beach grill BBQ where food is cooked to order
Our meal was delicious but somehow service went to pot the day we decided to dine and in the end we left without ever seeing the dessert we had ordered!
The elaborate Sunday Brunch is a must, as are the spectacular themed buffet evenings.
