Members of Nautilus International working in the large yacht sector are invited to attend the Union’s next seminar on the Maritime Labour Convention (MLC) 2006 in Antibes on 1 & 2 March 2016.

The two-day event is one of the Union’s regular professional development courses, being held jointly on this occasion with one of our strategic yachting partners – D&B Services.

The seminar will address how the MLC has affected issues such as accommodation and employment standards across the yachting world since it came into force in August 2013.

A special section will also be devoted to the upcoming amendments to the convention.

The seminar will be delivered by two Nautilus facilitators, trained by the International Labour Organisation (ILO).

All yacht officers and crew members are welcome to attend.

Non-members are also welcome to attend but will be charged a fee equivalent to one-year’s Union membership.

Course materials will be provided but accommodation and travel will be at the attendees’ own expense

To register for a place, or for further information, please email the superyacht co ordinations at Nautilus on dmcgowan@nautilusint.org.
