Each year the International Superyacht Society (ISS) awards recognition to individuals and companies for their expertise, leadership, and dedication to raising the standards of design, construction, maintenance, repair, and operation of large yachts.
This year the prestigious Business (Person) of the Year Award went to Timothy Hodgdon President of Hodgdon Yachts
It is awarded to those demonstrating excellence in their area of superyacht expertise within the previous year.
Nominations come from the global superyacht industry and the winner is selected by the board members of ISS.
ISS unveiled the winners during its 25th Anniversary Design & Leadership Gala that took place on November 4 at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
“This is a great honor,” said Timothy Hodgdon, President of Hodgdon Yachts. “From the launch of super-maxi Comanche, the construction of superyacht quality custom tenders, and the refit of high-end vessels, our areas of expertise are very diverse but our commitment to delivering superyacht quality drives all of the work we do.”
