Crystal Cruises has over the years, become a well-known luxury line operating two ships, the Crystal Symphony and Crystal Serenity.

Now the company is set on creaming off some of the yachting market

The cruise line operator was purchased earlier this year by Genting Hong Kong, a gaming and leisure travel mega-corporation.

They announced plans to expand beyond luxury cruise niche to become a complete luxury brand creating Crystal Esprit, a new yacht product.

The debut of Crystal Yacht Cruises will be in December with their Crystal Esprit and follows the complete refurbishing of a vessel that was already owned by Genting.

This 3,300-ton, luxury, all-suite, boutique-style ambiance yacht accommodating 62 guests will offer seven-day itineraries.

Features for guests to enjoy include four 10-passenger Zodiacs for excursions, along with a two-passenger submarine.

The superyacht will carry a 12-passenger tender built by Wider Yachts that guests can use for boating adventures.

As far as itineraries, Crystal Esprit will be calling on several destinations within the Adriatic Coast, Dubai and the Seychelles.

Her maiden voyage starting on December 23 this year will let guests explore the Seychelles Islands

It will be followed by a special post-cruise New Year’s Eve celebration at the Taj Dubai Hotel.
