Last month the US superyacht building yard was acquired by the commercial ship builder Harvey Gulf International Marine
Now Shane Guidry, president and CEO of Harvey Gulf International Marine, has announced that Billy Smith, the former VP of sales and marketing at Trinity Yachts is to become chief operating officer of Trinity Yachts tasked with the responsibility of taking Trinity Yachts to the next level
says: “One of the most respected professionals in the superyacht industry, Billy brings an institutional knowledge of Trinity and a strong relationship with Harvey Gulf as well as deep connections with national and international clients. Billy is a valuable asset to Trinity Yachts, and we are confident that he will help.”
The company’s Web site claims to have three yachts currently under construction
Billy Smith is a founding member and current board member of the Superyacht Builders Association (SYBAss). He is a member and former vice chairman of the United States Superyacht Association (USSA).
He will now be based at the Trinity Yachts office in New Orleans.
