But now the Managing Director of marine specialist public relations agency, ADPR, has been awarded Personality of the Year at the annual Marine Trade Association (MTA) Awards.
And we say well done
Alice Driscoll, Managing Director of ADPR, accepted the prestigious accolade in front of more than 200 influential industry professionals. The awards were presented during the MTA Dinner at the Gaucho Restaurant, London, as part of the CWM FX London Boat Show 2015.
The MTA Awards, in association with Boating Business magazine, recognise excellence of individuals and companies working within the UK marine industry. The panel, made up of members from the Marine Trade Association and Boating Business magazine, consider the nominations, before announcing them at the dinner.
Alice Driscoll is in the business of representing others and often misses the limelight herself. With the right contacts in the marine industry, an impressive contact book and the capacity to get things done, Alice is involved in projects that benefit everyone in the industry.
Alice has been working within the marine industry for nearly 25 years, having set up the successful public relations agency, ADPR, in 1991. She is a world class sailor, having competed at world and national standard, and previously winning the World Ladies Enterprise Championships
