Mark Whiteley widely recognised as a leading and experienced yacht interior and exterior designer is flying solo having set up his own design studio.
Whiteley co-directed the successful and award-winning yacht design company RWD for 20 years and has personally worked on over 25 superyacht projects, both sailing and motor yachts, ranging in size from 30m to 78m.
Among his first commissions is the Royal Huisman for 56 metre classic ketch for an American couple who selected naval architecture and exterior styling from Dykstra Naval Architects. Royal Huisman will build the yacht, which is expected to be delivered in 2017.
Working on a select number of projects alongside the best naval architects, shipyards and project managers the industry has to offer, Mark Whiteley Design as his new firm is to be called aims to provide innovative, creative design solutions with expertise and professionalism from his friendly studio in Hampshire.
