A yacht tender is often the first and last impression guests have from a superyacht cruise. Rigid Inflatable Boats have always been popular as superyacht tenders however transporting a large number of guests in protected comfort is a continual challenge.
Rising to that challenge is Acronautic the Australian based yacht services company
They have created Thetis, the world’s first Limousine RIB Tender, styled as a rigid inflatable boat, to meet the industry demand for a high speed multi-purpose yacht tender
It incorporates a limousine style cabin into a RIB that offers the practicality for diving, beach access and cruising.
The design was conceptualised by Stephen Crone the company’s Managing Director to meet an increasing demand for vessels that serve multiple purposes whether it be diving, cruising, lounging or exploring
Custom designed to a client’s requirements, style and taste, it is a fusion between an open style RIB and luxury superyacht limousine tender. It will offer passengers an exhilarating ride though a typical V-shape performance hull capable of speeds in excess of 40 knots from twin 350hp outboard engines.
Naval Architecture and styling has been provided by Whitehouse Yacht Design and Fluid Dynamics to ensure the most efficient hull performance and ride comfort.
The Thetis Project will be managed in conjunction with Josh Richardson of Superyacht Tenders and Toys in Europe.
