BVI Seeks to Register the Worlds Largest Yachts in the Territory

Despite having no promotional budget for press trips, the British Virgin Islands sent a whole delegation to this years Monaco Yacht Show.

The group included members from the Tourist Board, HM Customs office, and the BVI shipping registry.

The Territory is looking to promote its “Category One” ship registry status abroad now that it register the largest yachts in the world

“In the years of attending, we have seen the growth of BVI registered yachts participating in the show, increase over time,” said Maritza Mercer, chief operations officer in the BVI International Finance Centre.

BVI registered yachts at this year’s show included
