The German superyacht builder Blohm+Voss (B+V) has confirmed that, following the Monaco Yacht Show they received several new enquiries and one confirmed order.
We understand that B+V has received a letter of intent for the first BV80 contract.
The new BV80 design was launched in London before the Monaco show as a semi-custom line to be marketed alongside the full custom superyachts that B+V is known for.
Patrick Coote, B+V’s Sales & Marketing Director, said “We are proceeding with the first BV80 and we are in discussion with several other interested parties. On the custom side we also have advanced negotiations under way, mostly regarding yachts from 90-100m+. For both the semi-custom and custom ranges, the number of discussions is in double digits.”
