Newly placed into service as a luxury expedition yacht Enigma XK is explore the worldʼs most pristine and remarkable regions with unmatched expertise and experience beginning with the yachtʼs upcoming Antarctica season.
The owners have announced today a broad partnership EYOS Expeditions that will provide the most luxurious expedition yacht experience in the world.
The superyacht will work exclusively with EYOS on all its charters who seek to introduce a level of luxury and adventure that until now has been unprecedented in expedition charter yachts.
EYOS Expeditions CEO Capt. Ben Lyons says, “There are very few yachts in the world that are designed and built as true expedition yachts. Even fewer have a professional, fully staffed crew that understands the demands of an expedition and can embrace the spirit of flexibility needed to make it a success. The partnership will be broad-based and multi-faceted. As expedition operators, EYOS will work with clients on itinerary development, arranging logistical support such as private aircraft or helicopters, and acquiring necessary permits. In addition, two EYOS guides will be onboard to lead every expedition and ensure the safety of the clients in these extreme environments.
Lyons says, “Having two expedition staff onboard offers clients the luxury of choice; for instance, some clients may want to go kayaking in Neko Harbor, Antarctica, while others would prefer a hike up to a spectacular view over a glacier. We will be able to offer two activities at the same time. It also allows us the flexibility to accommodate the interests of our clients, whether that is history, marine biology, photography, or ornithology. Whatever their interest is, we can supply an experienced guide to enrich their expedition.”
