With 49 crew and the ability to accommodate 18 guests, a charter on board Luna presents a unique opportunity to experience the finest that the yachting world has to offer.
Launched by Lloyd Werft in Germany during 2010 to international acclaim, this magnificent superyacht is now available for charter for the first time.
At 115m build she has become the world’s largest charter expedition yacht.
Designed to be able to provide unparalleled experiences and the ultimate in luxury even in the most extreme environments , the charterer will be as equally spoilt in the ice fields of Antarctica as they would anchored off Nikki Beach.
Changing a yacht of this magnitude from private yacht to commercially available charter yacht requires special skills from highly experienced yacht managers and Watkins Superyachts, the bespoke London based superyacht management and charter agency have been appointed to both manage and act as the yachts central booking agent
As managers their first task was to seamlessly manage the reflagging of the yacht from Bermuda to the United Kingdom.
By doing so Luna becomes the largest superyacht registered under the British flag.
“We are proud to be working with Luna”, says Captain McCourt. “A superyacht is a luxury to be enjoyed and as her new managers we are committed to developing a synergy between management and crew to deliver the ultimate superyacht experience.
He added, “You could say we are over the moon to handle such a prestigious vessel.”
