Fiona Pankhurst Elected to Become First Ever Female President of British Marine Federation

Fiona Pankhurst, currently the head of corporate marketing & PR at Raymarine, has been appointed President of the BMF (British Marine Federation) to become the body’s first ever female president
She will formally take over the role, from Mike Cook the retiring President, in July but was passed her chain of office during the BMF Council Meeting and AGM held recently.
Cook was appointed BMF president in June 2012 after three years as vice-president a role that has until now been held by Pankhurst who has been working under Cook
The BMF is the trade association for the leisure, superyacht and small commercial marine industry in Britain.
