Shemara the 65 metre superyacht once owned by Lord and Lady Docker and then subsequently by Harry Hyams has been re launched in Portsmouth after a massive re build that has taken over three years to complete
Britain’s largest independent ship repairer, Burgess Marine, has successfully launched her using its Rolls Royce syncrolift ship lift at the ex Vosper-Thornycroft yard in Portchester at the top of Portsmouth Harbour
The vessel was then towed to the Port of Southampton for final fit out, by Trimline then commissioning and sea trials.
The tow has been facilitated by Williams Shipping.
Burgess Marine, Trimline and Williams Shipping are just three of over 200 local subcontractors to have supported Shemara Refit LLP., the company set up to oversee the refit for the yachts new owner widely reported elsewhere to be Sir Charles Dunstone.
