Pocket support yacht launched in Zaandam, The Netherlands

YXT One is the first of a series of purpose built pocket support yachts has launched by builders Lynx Yachts in Zaandam, The Netherlands.

The Yacht-X-Tender or YXT series is aimed at acting as a support vessel to yachts between 30m and 70m.
At just 24 metres overall she can carry a host of toys and large tenders while freeing up space on the main yacht and eradicating the problems associated with towing.
At anchor the YXT acts as a large beach club and depending on the custom configuration below decks she offers a sauna, spa, gym or extra accommodation for guests, staff or crew.
The YXT is also an ideal support vessel for large sailing yachts often hampered by the lack of large tenders and space for recreational areas like spas, saunas and gyms.
Built in The Netherlands by Lynx Yachts with naval architecture and designed by Diana Yacht Design there is great possibility for an Owner to configure a YXT to his/her specific needs.
The Lynx Yachts shipyard recently delivered the 33.4 metre twin screw canoe stern motor yacht Heliad II also designed by Diana.
The team decided that the build had been such a pleasant experience for all involved that they should try to repeat it and fortunately the contract for the building of YXT One was not long in the waiting.
The builder has two distinct divisions, one building custom yachts up to 55m and the other building the YXT series.

Established gradually and through opportunity builder prides itself on team work, flexibility, quality and customer satisfaction.
The unusually shaped yacht will next undergo sea trials and final commissioning before heading for the Mediterranean.
YXT One is now offered through Fraser Yachts with broker Vassilis Fotilas handling enquiries.
Heliad II is offered for charter through Frances Edgeworth and the Fraser Yachts Charter Marketing team in Monaco

The yacht will be attending the MYBA Charter Show in Genoa later this month and will become the subject of a review written by us.
