It is not clear why the Feadship built Venus has been hauled ashore for what can only be repairs in Ensenada Mexico but it has got the Apple computer community set to gossip.
Cult of Mac is a daily news website that follows everything Apple. Its stated goal is to provide timely news, insightful analysis, helpful how-tos and honest reviews. It does however stray into the land of gossip on occasions.
Cult of Mac reader Felipe Cornejo has recently sent a report and photographs of the yacht ashore to the Web site. He notes that he did not see any of Jobs’ family at the site, and that dock workers he spoke with were not aware this was Jobs’ boat.
The yacht that became Venus was first mentioned by Walter Isaacson the biographer of Apple Creator Steve Jobs in 2011.
Feadship refused to confirm the yacht they had built was for Jobs but the fact the super yacht was launched in Aalsmeer with the Jobs’ family on-hand for the unveiling was later confirmed by her designer Philippe Starck
