Clipper Ventures are to dispose of 2 of their 68’ world circling sailing yachts offering them on to the brokerage market through brokers: Berthon International.
Both are being sold at MCA Category 0 which is the highest standard possible for adventure sailing and they offer a unique opportunity for their new owners to explore the world’s oceans in proven yachts who’s design and build have stood the test of time.
68#1 has sailed around 250,000 nautical miles and carried the name Edinburgh in the 2011/12 Race.
68#11 was delivered in 2010 and has a single circumnavigation beneath her keel as Finland in the 2011/12 race.
Both yachts are offered in full cruising trim, and may be visited by appointment through Berthon.
Clipper Ventures’ CEO Jeremy Knight commented: – “Whilst we have a full programme for our Clipper 68 fleet including a programme in Australia, our planning allows for the disposal of these 2 yachts albeit with a heavy heart as they have been loyal friends to Clipper.”
Sue Grant from Berthon said: – “The Clipper 68 is a superb platform for adventure sailing at the highest level and their Category 0 status makes them a great buy at a time when the market is showing positive signs of a real upturn.”
