Paul Allen Takes Tatoosh Yacht Off The Market After it Failed To Sell at $160 Million

Reports in the Daily Mail and Business Insider magazine are suggesting that the Tatoosh, the 92 metre yacht belonging to Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen, is no longer for sale.

It has, says reporter Madeline Stone, been removed from the market after failing to find a buyer in almost four years on the market.
This fact was confirmed by Stuart Larsen of Fraser Yachts who told the Daily Mail “The yacht has not been sold, and furthermore is not for sale”.
Allen first listed Tatoosh with Fraser Yachts for $160 million back in 2010.
The superyacht can accommodate 20 guests and 30 crew members, and on board facilities include:
  • A Cinema
  • Swimming pool
  • Basketball court
  • Recording studio
  • Gym
  • Two helipads

The yacht was also by far the largest to travel to Sochi for the Winter Olympics last month.

Allen also owns another, much bigger yacht: the 126 metre Octopus, which has played host to some wild New Years’ parties and visits from recording artists the likes of Mick Jagger and Damian Marley.
