Invited to Sit on the Judge’s Panel for the Asia Boating Awards 2014

Hosted by Asia-Pacific Boating and China Boating magazines, Asia Boating Awards was created in 2005, the annual Asia Boating Awards it is todays most acknowledged and prestige award in the yachting industry of Asia-Pacific region
It recognises the best of the maritime industry in Asia and internationally.
Presented during a lavish ceremony, the awards serve as a benchmark for the industry in the Asia-Pacific region.
This prestigious event gathers together VIPs guests and industry insiders from around the region, and world, and gives them the chance to network and celebrate together in one of Asia’s most vibrant maritime cities.

Now Glen Watson, Editor-in-Chief, Asia-Pacific Boating and Samuel Xu, the Deputy Editor-In-Chief, China Boating have invited Michael Howorth the British based superyacht specialist journalist to join the panel of judges for the third year running.
Voting this year has been refined and the awards reduced to 21 categories.
The shortlist of the nominees will be assembled into a judge’s pack that will contain the top nominees in every category, with descriptions provided by relevant companies, or by the editorial staffs of Asia-Pacific Boating/China Boating, plus images.
The result will be announced during the Asia Boating Awards 2014 ceremony in Hong Kong. Following after the event, the result will be published in both Asia-Pacific Boating and China Boating Jul/Aug 2014 issue.
Speaking about his appointment as a judge Michael Howorth said, “The boating industry throughout Asia has witnessed tremendous positive developments over the past ten years. The annual awards night provides recognition of those efforts and serves as a barometer for the success of those who serve the industry there.  I am truly honoured and humbled to be asked to sit on this prestigious panel”
