With the tail end of the Kiwi summer fast approaching the Doyle NZ loft and Stratis plant has seen a season busier than is usual.
George Sakellaris’ R/P 72 Shockwave |
The loft has been working on sails for a wide range of exciting projects including new Stratis ICE sails for Hugo Boss, full new sets of Doyle Stratis sails for 56m Perini Navi Asahi, 52.5m schooner Dona Francisca, the maxi Rio 100 (ex Lahana) and the Swan 90 Spirit.
They also had some fantastic results out on the water including a win for George Sakellaris’ R/P 72 Shockwave, which took the overall IRC win in this year’s Caribbean 600, correcting out to finish roughly 1 hour ahead of rival Bella Mente.
They have a good representation at the upcoming Caribbean season where there is lots of on water action to look forward to.
Six of the entries for the upcoming Caribbean Superyacht Regatta & Rendezvous 2014 are powered by Doyle, with many of them sporting brand new sails.
