With governments around the world imposing sanctions on high profile Russian oligarchs one wonders what if any effect such impositions might have on those high profile Russians who own superyachts.
Could it become an offence to manage or crew on such a persons yacht?
What about handling the charter marketing or even brokering the sale or purchase of a yacht owned by Russians, could that become illegal?
If so the superyacht industry could be in for a rough ride.
