In a market full of concepts and new-builds that can at times be described as “style over substance” comes a refreshing and seriously no-nonsense range of yachts that are uncompromisingly safe and comfortable.
Conceived by Simon Billington who spent over two years developing this concept, the all new range of discovery motor yachts is to be built in Vietnam by Hong Kong based Cape Scott Yachts.
The Company President Dan Fritz has been building large luxury yachts in both Canada and the Far East since he founded Queenship nearly 22 years ago.
Sales and marketing of the new range will be handled by Simon Billington of Private YachtGroup a full-service luxury yachting business, based in Lymington, with offices on the Cote d’Azur.
Top of the new range, is a yacht of 35 metres that incorporates class-leading safety features as standard, including an armoured double steel hull, five watertight and fireproof bulkheads, four independent bilge evacuation systems and fully protected stern gear.
Trans-oceanic range and interior layouts that make the most of their generous internal volume ensure that Cape Scott’s are equally suited to the seasoned adventurer or those looking for a very comfortable home in the sun.
The spacious bridge deck owner’s stateroom, an option on most of the model range, offers panoramic views and a private sun deck. Well appointed guest cabins, in a range of optional layouts, are located on the main deck and crew accommodation is on the lower deck.
The design offers what everything the discerning yacht owner is looking for; a large and well-designed interior, a sea-kindly ride, a fuel efficient hull shape and the peace of mind that only comes with a vessel designed and equipped to be the safest in it’s class.
Safety features include:
- Double steel hull with plate thickness in excess of Lloyds specification
- Five watertight and fireproof bulkheads
- Four separate bilge evacuation systems
- Fire fighting equipment on all decks
- Fully protected running gear
