Camper & Nicholsons Marinas plans on forming a strategic chain of high-end marina facilities throughout popular and emerging yachting regions worldwide
Launching in February 2014 it will be known as The 1782 Club and will bring together a group of independently owned and operated marinas partner under the Camper & Nicholsons’ global marketing banner.
Member marinas will benefit from the group’s global marketing reach and brand equity, through participation in a communications programme that targets all segments of the yachting market.
Among the first marina to sign up is Porto Montenegro, with others in the Middle East, Indian Ocean, Southeast Asia and the Americas showing interest.
Kurt Fraser, Sales & Marketing Director for C&N Marinas, said, “The club is to become the first branded, worldwide marina club and will soon expand to include a worldwide loyalty and privileges programme for yacht owners, captains and crew. The advantages of this are anticipated to exceed the benefits of any regional scheme available on the market today”
Existing marinas already under the Camper & Nicholsons’ brand will actively participate in cross promotional activities alongside 1782 Club members to enable yachts to cruise between them, with a consistently high level of service. This will include the newly developed:
- Limassol Marina in Cyprus
- Yas Marina in Abu Dhabi
- Porto San Rocco in Italy
as well as C&N owned facilities in:
- Grand Harbour Marina in Malta
- Cesme Marina in Turkey
- Port Louis Marina in Grenada.
