Design Unlimited the British based company that specialises in yacht interior design and exterior styling for both production and custom yachts has unveiled details of a striking new superyacht project
Project Vora is a 72m motor yacht with a distinctive performance profile.
As is desirable for a yacht of this class, the upper superstructure length is contained within the central fifty percent of overall length, allowing the designers to create a sleek, profile.
The studio has taken a fresh look at how a main deck is utilised and used the opportunity to create easily accessible open spaces at deck level.
The positioning of the superstructure played an important role in this process, allowing the creation of two distinct external entertaining spaces fore and aft. This approach to the layout has delivered exceptional levels of privacy and versatility.
When sitting aft, the owner and guests will enjoy a large lounging area looking out over the stern. A central pool and ample space for dining will make this a favourite family area, ideal for leisurely meals, sunbathing and watching those enjoying the yacht’s watersports equipment out on the open water.
Forward of the superstructure is the owner’s deck; a more enclosed, more peaceful space, with direct access from the owner’s suite, ideal for those looking for a sanctuary from the more energetic pursuits taking place elsewhere. This is the place for individuals and groups looking to escape the outside world for a few moments, with perhaps a good book and a long drink.
The interiors will include the firm’s trademark floor to ceiling glazing in the main deck saloon and master stateroom, allowing these spaces to feel like extensions of the external decks and opening up the possibility of dramatic lighting displays for those viewing her from neighbouring yachts or from the shore.
The open space theme is further enhanced by the introduction of a ‘one way’ glass floor to the main saloon, giving a completely uninterrupted view of the pool and sunbathing area below.
With further attention to detail, the tender garages have been positioned such that the tenders are launched and can be accessed amidships, ensuring the privacy of the owner and guests when they are enjoying the aft deck areas.
Project Vora is a family-friendly vessel with spaces and facilities to meet the needs of guests of every age and the ability to satisfy those looking for either an active or relaxing stay on board.
