More a Camper Van for the Sea rather than a Super Yacht Tender

One of the more unusual exhibits to catch our eye at the Monaco Yacht Show was a tender that was patrolling the show trying to garner attention.
Know as a The Jet Capsule the 8 metre craft looks more like a space ship than one destined to go to sea but the interior has all the comforts you would expect to find inside the top end super yacht tender.  Seating for eight, a diving platform, teak deck, underwater lights, sunpad and a toilet, sleeping accommodation and a small galley are optional extras into the main compartment.
It is a concept brought to life by the Italian design firm Lazzarini who have created a compact bubble pod that they describe as a boat small enough to be easily maneuvered, yet spacious enough to take a handful of friends out for drinks, over to a port for an evening’s entertainment.”
A Hamilton water jet engine powered by a 300 hp diesel engine can push her along at a cruising speed of 25 knots in calm water.  A twin-engined option offers 500 hp of power output.
Lazzarini has plans to offer versions that can be used as emergency and rescue boats, water taxis, and even an armoured version for military use.
As yet prices have not been disclosed
