Free WiFi for Some Visitors to FLIBS

Having the use of the Internet whilst working abroad represents an important link for those who may otherwise become isolated for fear of racking up large data roaming charges.  But for members of The Super Yacht Builders Association (SYBAss) working at the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show that is one worry they will not now have.
Based in the Isle of Man and operating services on super yachts internationally Global Marine Communicationis to provide a free Wi-Fi service to SYBAss members of at this year’s Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS from 31-Oct to 4-Nov).
This is not a first for GMC, as they also provided free Wi-Fi to SYBAss Members during the 2013 Dubai Boat Show and have been providing Wi-Fi services to the Antibes Yacht Show since 2011.
Andreas F. Evans co-founder of GMC said, “We committed to demystifying the technology surrounding the delivery of Internet.  Internet Access is a science not a black art.  We supply access via satellite for moving vessels, and FLIBS will provides GMC with another opportunity to show industry leaders how it’s done.”
Sadly however GMC’s free Wi-Fi service will only allow SYBAss members to remain in contact with office the others like us will have to pay the roaming charges and put up with it!
