We have been told we are to stay in Crusoe Residence number 1 one of just seven in the whole resort.
Standing alone in away from the land in the middle of the lagoon, the only way these amazing villas can be accessed is by using our private rowing boat complete with 4hp out board engine or by pontoon boat shuttle.
Totalling some 250 square metres of floor space, each residence has its own upstairs and downstairs with a private landing stage at the front and the back.There is a large air-conditioned living room (convertible to an additional bedroom) with two daybeds. There is a dining table television with satellite channels and DVD player and the most wonderful glass viewing port set into the floor so you can watch the fish swim underneath your house!
To the left through the Kitchenette with its own fridge and mini wine cellar is the bedroom with a King sized bed. Here you can use the air conditioning or open up all the windows and let the ocean air cool you down as the creator intended.
To the right is the most splendid of open-air private bathroom suites with separate glass walled shower area. From here you can walk down the steps and bath in the sea enjoying total privacy. The bath itself is a dream, surrounded on three sides by windows that over look the ocean. Surely there does not exist a bathroom with a better view
Up stairs is our rooftop sun deck with daybed and dining facilities while overlooking the lagoon is our own over-water sun deck with sun loungers.
The rustic feel of the place suggests it has been built for us but Robinson Crusoe himself. All we need now is Man Friday!

Each residence enjoys the services of their own dedicated Mr Friday. Available 24 hours a day, he will be delighted to help arrange excursions, spa appointments, sunset cruises, restaurant reservations and even help pack or unpack your luggage.
Parents will be pleased to know that Mr Friday can also keep the little ones entertained with storytelling and craft sessions.
