We Will Test the latest Olloclip iPhone Lenses on Maldive Islands Trip

Just a few years ago the point-and-shoot cameras and smartphones were two separate items and vied for space in our pockets. How things have changed. Today the smartphone camera has evolved to the point where it’s the main camera for many amateur photographers around the world. So it makes sense that more serious camera phones like the iPhone should have an exciting range of camera accessories.
Clipping snuggly onto the iPhone within seconds, the olloclip seriously enhances iPhone photography.
Its three lenses in one include:
  • Macro lens for close ups – applies roughly a 10X multiplier and allows you to focus the iPhone within 12-15mm of the subject.
  • Fisheye lens – captures a 180 Degree field-of-view to produce some striking images.
  • Wide-angle lens – captures approximately double the field of view of a normal iPhone.

Each lenses comes with its own micro fibre carrying case that doubles as a lens cleaner and works with all the best selling apps.  Other accessories include:
  • Quick flip case
  • Telephoto lens with polarising filter

We hope to find this very useful when taking pictures from yachts.

We will be taking the products on test with us next week when we travel to the Maldives to research another in our series of super yacht destinations that re appearing in Invictus magazine.
We will put it to the test and will report back posting some of our favourite images on twitter #olloclip
