Interview with Chief Mate on Motor Yacht Latiko

Among the yachts lined up for broker inspection at the MYBA Genoa Charter Yacht Show was Latiko, the 35 metre Benetti.
Chief Officer Will Poynton, was our guide as we toured the yacht. As soon as we removed our shoes and stepped on board he made us feel at ease and relaxed offering us spectacular brownies baked by the chef.
The motor yacht Latiko is a popular charter vessel on the Mediterranean charter circuit and one of the Fraser Yachts central agency charter yachts featured at this year’s event showcasing the best superyachts available for luxury yacht charter for the coming Mediterranean season.
Latiko starts at 77,500€/week and Will explained to us what you were getting for this charter fee.
After our tour around, Will suggested 5 good reasons to choose Latiko over any of the other charter yachts available with Fraser Yachts.
First up was the crew a massively important element to any crewed yacht charter vacation. Finding a boat with friendly knowledgeable and professional crew is vital for a great charter experience and Latiko  certainly has that with a lot of fun too. Captain Paul McWilliams can advise about the best cruising grounds in:
  • Croatia
  • Turkey
  • Greece
  • Italy
  • South France

Andy the engineer has fishing knowledge and skills to get the best fish onto your plate. While Tammy’s mouthwatering dishes for you and your guests will bring you begging to the pantry before dinner looking for her glorious canapés.
Most of the crew onboard Latikohave been working onboard for several years now, proving that they work well together as a team to create a super friendly and unobtrusive crew experience.
The second great reason to charter the motor yacht Latiko is the fantastic aft deck with a dining table that can seat 10, including comfortable around the wall sofas. The area is cosy yet spacious and has removable walls to protect from any bad weather or wind. There is the possibility of Jacuzzi parties up on the sun deck where there is a bar, stools, and lots of waterproof sunpads, which give excellent panoramic views of the ocean and a sure way to spend a great day or evening with the people closest to you. This area can also be shaded if necessary. This beautiful sundeck is a great third reason to pick Latiko.
The fourth reason is the toys. Latikoboasts an 8.5m tender and another 4.2m Zodiac with wakeboard, wake skate, inflatable crocodiles, snorkeling kits, kayaks, and SeaDoos. The crew are all pro divers and can teach the kids wakeboarding while you join the glitterati for a very long-lunch at Club 55 or another beach restaurant along your charter itinerary.
The final great reason to charter the yacht Latikois the yacht itself and its new revamped interior. No expense has been spared to keep Latiko at the highest charter standards. There are 4 guest cabins onboard decorated in a modern style with an oriental twist. The double master bedroom, the VIP and two twins allow up to 9 guests including a nanny. The upper deck has a lounge for dinner parties, and a bar and fashionable sitting area with backgammon and other games.  There is also a quiet reading area. The sun deck with sofas, bar and Jacuzzi is a very special area. There is also Wifi available onboard through VSAT so you do not have to miss out on any work engagements.
Will told us that the return rate for guests on Latiko is very high and they already have much of the summer booked. If you want to feel at home onboard with a fantastic crew, go to the best places on the planet and eat phenomenal fish straight off the line contact Fraser Yachts
