Out of Season Charters – Caribbean and the Bahamas

The Caribbean and the islands of the Bahamas are the places to be during the winter season, particularly the islands of St Barths and Antigua which have the same popularity among the super yacht crowd as St Tropez in the summer. But visiting out of season can have its benefits.
Odyssey
From May to September certain areas of the Caribbean offer favourable weather and competitive prices. The strong winter winds have died down and hurricane are not usually a problem.
Make for the quiet beaches of the Virgin Islands from May through June. Diving at this time is fantastic due to calmer seas and better visibility.
Monte Carlo
Head south to the Leeward Islands in June and July. The Windward Islands are pleasantly warm throughout the summer.
Alternatively, the Bahamas, just 80 kms off Florida’s coast and continuing 965 kms towards the Caribbean, offer 700 islands lapped by shallow waters that are ideal cruising grounds all year round.
Symphony II
