Taking a Bonnie and Clyde moment away from his desk as a super yacht designer is Mike Reeves who with James Claydon founded the Lymington based Design Team Claydon Reeves.
Driving a classic and vintage motor car, a 1940 V8 Ford Coupe similar to that favoured by the bank robbers Bonnie & Clyde, he plans to take part in the 5th Peking to Paris Endurance Rally later this year.
Reeves and his Partner Michelle Jana Chan, a travel journalist & BBC Fast Track presenter, have lovingly restored the car from a bare shell and have named it Shiner.
They leave together from Peking on the 28th of May and will over the month of June cross China and Mongolia, travel through Russia, the Ukraine, Slovakia and into Europe – ending their journey at the Place Vendome in Paris on the 29th of June.
