The Cat that Likes Water

English luxury car maker, Jaguar has invited super yacht designer Ivan Erdevicki to collaborate on the design of a con- cept speedboat together with Ian Callum, Jaguar’s Director of Design who was the inspiration behind the concept.

The 6.1 metre design looks powerful and follows the idea of a traditional speedboat but with the sleek and fast characteristics that you would expect from a Jaguar.

The design Concept Speedboat has a compos- ite hull, moulded air-intakes and the deck finished in a natural teak; the bow section flows seamlessly into the windshield and the red 2+1 cockpit with the aft section split by a carbon-fibre fin, inspired by the iconic Jaguar D-Type.

The whole concept follows the sporting character of Jaguar cars and the life-size model complements perfectly the exciting international driving debut of the new Jaguar XF Sportbrake car.
