Where is she chartering?
Repeating the success of 2010 she is going to make another incredible and exclusive journey to the end of the world during the winter 2012/201. Sherakhan can be available for charters in the Caribbean, the Antarctica Peninsula, South Georgia, Patagonia, Chile, Argentina, Brazil with the Amazon River, Galapagos Islands, Panama with the Panama Canal, San Blass Islands, Costa Rica.
Her calendar:
- December 2012 and in the beginning of January 2013 available for a Christmas charter in the Caribbean area
- February 2013; booked charter in Antarctica
- March and April 2013 available in Patagonia, Chile or as from the end of March available in Panama, Costa Rica or Caribbean
- Summer season 2013 available in the Mediterranean.
For the Polar area trips expedition clothes are supplied together with English spoken guides and ice pilots.
Why is she special?
In October 2012 the Sherakhan was in the Netherlands for a refit and preparing for the winter season. There are:
- New carpets in the salon and master cabin
- All kinds of new furniture and curtains
- Updated entertainment system
- Updated all safety equipment
- Updated the engine room
- Fully overhauled 2 main generators
- Some nice new toys.
