Set to replace the existing MYBAnet system currently in use by charter brokers worldwide, MYBA’s new business-to-business intranet platform and luxury charter booking system, Yachtfolio, has been delayed.Delayed because the migration of yacht data from one platform to another has necessitated technical safeguards and ‘back-up’ systems be in place and fully tested prior to the changeover, the system is now scheduled to go ‘live’ early next year
Fiona Maureso, IT Panel Chair said: “The intended autumn 2012 launch of the system has been deferred for the entirely correct reasons of ensuring efficiency, security, reliability and trustworthiness.”
A further update on next year’s intended launch of Yachtfolio will be communicated to existing MYBAnet subscribers and the industry as a whole as soon as possible.
