Triton Submarines part of the U.S. Submarine group of companies sells submersibles including the Triton 1000 two– and three–passenger models andthe Triton 3,300, to superyachts.
At the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show the company introduced the world’s first and only luxury submarine charter service, Triton Submarine Charters, (TSC).
Marc Deppe, TSC’s VP of Marketing is enthusiastic about the company’s potential. “The addition of a submersible can turn any yacht charter into the adventure of a lifetime. For those charterers who have a passion for the ocean, the addition of a submersible is a total game changer. Imagine a vacation where every day you visit places and see things that no person has ever seen before. Having a one our subs on board will make this a reality”.
In addition to chartering submersibles, TSC has partnered with HenryCookson Adventures to create unique travel experiences that reset the bar in adventure tourism. TSC will be sending its submersibles to Antarctica this December on a Henry Cookson Adventures trip on board the expedition yacht Suri.Henry Cookson, founder of Henry Cookson Adventures is enthusiastic about adding submersibles to his company’s offerings. “Our clients are looking for experiences that are unique in the world. With Tritons on board, we will deliver every time.”
TSC currently has two submersibles available for charter and can deliver them to any location worldwide. Patrick Lahey, the company’s President is pleased with the immediate demand for submarine charter. “We have more requests than we can handle. We are going to have to add several more submersibles to our charter fleet. It’s a great problem to have.”
Triton also builds larger luxury submarines for yacht–based operations that carry 4, 6 and 10 passengers, as well as large diesel-electric luxury submarines and tourist submarines.
