We are off to Mallorca as guests of Sunseeker International to test drive the new Sunseeker 40that will be unveiled to the general public at this years Cannes and Southampton boats shows almost simultaneously.
It is a quick in and out trip as reviews mostly are with us flying from Gatwick to Palma with easyJet on what was a trouble free trip.
Sunseeker have chosen to use specialists to organise the logistics of the trip and we were both very impressed with the way that The Event Business went about organising things. If more press trips were so well planned and executed there would be many more happy journalists!
We were accommodated at the Port Adriano Hotel in Mallorca and establishment that styles its self as a 5 Star Luxury Marina Golf Spa
Dinner was on the terrace of Coast an Asian fusion restaurant that is within the marina complex. Good food excellent wine and great company made it a most enjoyable occasion.
Much has been written about the Phillipe Starke design the marina embraces and while it looks pleasant enough its visual effect differs little from marinas around the world designed by lesser mortals at no doubt the fraction of the design fee.
