The charter listing website seeks to become a business-to-business platform of the highest industry standards, subscription to which will infer a level of trustworthiness, confidence and quality.
Unlike its predecessor it has not been developed solely for members of MYBA.
Now any member of the professional luxury yacht charter industry, who can satisfy and continue to meet the strict Subscriber Application criteria can use the service.
This level of ‘pre-qualification’ is says MYBA, “An essential aspect and the only way to ensure a consistently high standard of professionalism is maintained throughout.
Minimum entry requirements, such as having Professional Indemnity Insurance in place, for example, have been compiled by industry experts to safeguard both users and their clients. Meantime, active management and ongoing monitoring and maintenance of the system will ensure the potential for unreliable subscribers having access to the yachts will not be possible.
Listing full yacht specification, availability (booking calendar), cruising area, charter rates and additional essential information for over 1400 fully-crewed luxury yachts of minimum length 20m, specifications and crew profiles for each yacht – normally uploaded as part of the Central Agent’s role – will be displayed prominently, with better quality imaging and yacht brochures can be downloaded either as high quality pdf’s or viewed via web links.
Anyone new to the system functions will be given training and support in the form of seminars, videos and live demonstrations.
Existing MYBAnet subscribers will be given the same level of assistance to ensure little or no disruption. Following Phase 1 of the re-launch in the autumn, where subscriber feedback will be assessed, Phase 2 will see the system developed for yacht sales, and Phase 3 will see further upgrades and enhancements to the system.
