The app ensures that everyone from racing sailors and cruisers to surfers and fishermen have the most up to date information at their fingertips whenever they put to sea.
It is available for all Apple, Blackberry and Android devices and features the latest marine weather forecasts, data from live weather stations, tidal predictions and sunrise/sunset times.
Available in a free version, which includes all features except tidal predictions, it also comes as an advert-‐free Plus version including full tidal data that costs around £1.99
With the option to save regularly retrieved options to a favourites list for speedy future access and all data plotted on a chart for ease of use and comprehension, Marine Weather provides everything a safety conscious boater needs via one user-‐friendly portal.
The Marine Weather app covers all UK coastal regions including onshore and offshore areas, and quality data is sourced from the UK Met Office, the Oceanographic Laboratory, the UK Home Office, Proudman and the Marine Institute, Ireland.
