For the superyacht charterer who wants to race yachts in warm waters under a hot tropical sun there is no better place to indulge that whim than Antigua in April. Antigua Race Week began in the 1960’s as an informal race for classic charter yachts to celebrate the end of the Caribbean season.

Over the years modern yachts joined in and the classic yachts split off for their own week attracting traditional island boats, classic ketches, sloops, schooners, yawls, Spirit of Tradition yachts, J Class yachts, and Tall Ships.
Shoreside activities during the 25th Regatta will be enhanced with new events, as well as old stand-byes, including the State of Maine Sail Party with lobster bisque, the Concours d’Elegance competition sponsored by the Lunenburg Shipyard Alliance, the popular Single-handed Race, and a host of social events at the Antigua Yacht Club, the official host of the event.
Nicolson Yachts have a number of charter boats available for the event including:
- Atalante at US$42,000 plus all expenses
- Eros from US$31,500 plus all expenses
- Ree at US$70,000 plus all expenses
