The Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show has just become a lot more exciting for Captains and crews of superyachts now that the marina operations group IGY has unveiled a programme of daily mini seminars and events.
Each evening they plan to offer cocktails and small bites, to help crews with industry networking or just to catch up on the latest happenings!

Seminar on Day One, Thurs., Oct. 27
St. Lucia: New Initiatives for Yachting
From 5–8pm, learn about new yachting initiatives passed by the SLU government to encourage yachting.
Day Two, Fri., Oct. 28
Yacht Financing
Network with finance executives from Merrill Lynch Wealth
Management and learn about yacht financing.
Day Three, Sat., Oct. 29
Yacht Insurance
Network with Kornreich-NIA, a Marsh & McLennan Agency company, and learn about the importance and different types of yacht insurance.
Day Four, Sun., Oct. 30
Meet the Managers
After the 6pm drawing for iPad contestants, meet the IGY Marina
Managers and have drinks and apps with them!
Day Five, Mon., Oct. 31
Cruising Destinations
Meet representatives from Costa Rica, Puerto Rico and Colombia and learn about the hidden cruising gems of each location.
